It\'s is possible that the information within this article is now out of date or updated.

Microsoft recently released a Facebook application for Windows Mobile but unfortunately some folks had issues with the install.  Not to worry!  . There is a new copy of the application that has been posted and it will fix the issue of folks getting the “cannot install due to insufficient privileges” error as well as help with some hanging errors.

So what do you need to do?

You’ll want to uninstall the old application and then make sure that the facebook.vol and fbmail.vol files are deleted from your root directory before reinstalling. You can get the new .cab file at the download center or from your phone.

Enjoy!!
