Today, we now have 2 new pieces of software to help you jailbreak your device.  First off, we have an updated version of PwnageTool for Intel Macs to help you jailbreak your iPhone 3.0 device.  If you are using Windows you will need to wait for QuickPwn or you can simply read on for the next piece of software which has been highly anticipated for iPod Touch 2G users.

Next up, we have the much anticipated redsn0w!  Redsn0w is a jailbreaking utility for Windows and Mac that will jailbreak all current iPhones and iPod Touches with the exception of the iPhone 3GS.  If you own the original 2G iPhone, redsn0w will also unlock your phone so you can use it with any carrier.  Below is a table with all Apple devices, jailbreak software, and compatible platforms.  This is assuming 3.0 OS is loaded on all devices.

If you have an iPhone 3GS, you will need to wait for the dev team to figure that one out but if history proves anything, it can’t be THAT long until we get a working jailbreak.
