One difference I noted was that removing the PTT (Push To Talk) peskiness seems to have changed. The previous ROMs required deletion HKLM/Services/PTT and HKCUSoftwareHTCPTT followed by renaming PTT to something like _PTT and then creating a new PTT folder and changing its attributes to System and Read-Only. The new ROM is missing a PTT folder. For kicks I installed and configured AE Button Plus and remapped the PTT key, rebooted the device and so far I haven't seen hair nor hide of the PTT app. We'll see how this goes.
