Most of what you mentioned was already in the Omnia. My Omnia has GPS (limited by Verizon), WiFi, a 5 MP camera (with autofocus), TV out support and an FM radio. It doesn't have a 3.5" headphone jack (you have to connect an adapter to the sync port just like for TV out), but I have 8 GB internal Flash.

Steve

Wow... this windows mobile powered samsung beauty is incredible. Have you seen the technical specs yet? Of course it has teh standard gps and wif support, but you also get a 5 mp camera and tv out support, not to mention standard 3.5" headophones with an FM radio and over 1 gb of internal memeory. With sd cards you can go up to 32 gb. Wow is all I can say!

If the processor scales its speeds, it may not be that bad. The processor proobably doesn't need the full 800 MHz all of the time.

Steve

1500mAh battery? With an 800Mhz processor it's going to be short-lived. That would be an extended battery on a 400Mhz device.

-CB

The dedicated key to switch interfaces seems sketchy to me. The Q9m had a similar key to switch between the Verizon media Home screen and the user's Home screen, and I felt it was a waste of a key.

The other thing I wonder about is why they're dropping internal memory to 1 GB. My Omnia has probably has 128-256 MB storage memory plus 8 GB of extra storage. If the 1 GB is storage memory and there's no extra storage, that sounds like a big loss (I store most of my programs in the extra storage).

Other than those two items, this looks like a great device.

Steve
