Although the 8125 had a newer OS (those guys at XDA are geniuses), it still has older hardware which is obviously not compatible with today&#039;s resources.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In the same way, even if you load iPhone 3.0 OS onto an iPhone or iPhone 3G, you will not get 100% of the functionality and/or compatibility that you would by loading 3.0 onto an iPhone 3G S.  The hardware needs to support the software (or OS).</description>
