Omnia2UI   Omnia2UI_4

Omnia2UI_2   Omnia2UI_3

Samsung, following the recent trend, has come up with a nice simulator of the new Omnia user interface.

I like those things as it gives a good impression of one of the most important things in an advance mobile device – the user interface experience.

Check our the emulator in here.

First impression: Like in the previous Omnia – loud’s of customizations, but a nicer layout (iPhone style pages, shortcuts, and widgets), nice black theme (also in the standard applications!), more custom apps – and they are looking very good I must say.

OK I Will have 3 of those please…

Would have been better if they did a ROM image for Microsoft's Windows Mobile Emulator....it's too easy to make things seem like they work great when you're doing it in a flash demo.
  • Perhaps, but remember the audience. This emulator is aimed at the general public to give them an idea of the experience. The general public most likely has Flash installed, but probably doesn't have the WM emulator.
