Yes, it’s a fact reported by the Spanish Blog Clipset. The eBook “Lost Symbol” by Dan Brown has sold more copies than the actual book in Amazon.

This means a lot. This means that Kindle is the best move that Amazon has done in a long time. This means that we are witnessing a shift in the mentality of many readers that are choosing to go green instead of going with paper copies of their books.

  • i've seen these stats, and wonder if it has anything to do with the iphone, you can download kindle books to your iphone w/o actually owning a kindle.

    I believe that those numbers are done daily. For the last month....the book version could have been ahead. however now that kindle users can download the book......there is a mass-buying frenzy.

    I don't think it proves anything other then the fact that kindle owners don't need to pre-order.
