lg-gw620-android-smartphone-01 Forget “iPhone Killers”, those are so last month…the new fashion seems to be “Cliq Killers”.

Despite continuing to shout about it’s upcoming THIRTEEN Windows Mobile phones (“Love us, Redmond, LOVE USSSS!!!!!”), LG found the time to announce an Android handset that follows the now standard sliding QWERTY touchscreen model so that it looks like…well…like a Moto Cliq.

Originally leaked as the Etna, LG is now calling the phone the GW620 and are not giving up any specs yet beyond a three inch touchscreen and Android baked right in. However, it is rumored to feature a 5MP camera, GPS, HSPDA and WiFi and to be destined for a European release.

The phone looks sharp if a bit familiar, and though it is no iPhone I bet Steve Ballmer would pretend to step on it for you if you took his picture with it.
