New iPaq Clears FCC, Coming to AT&T?

It appears the new iPaq QWERTY-Bar Smartphone that was rumored a few months back, the K3 Obsidian, has been cleared by the FCC and is coming to AT&T as the KB1. No word yet on availability or pricing, but it should be one of the phones leading the WinMo 6.5 charge in a month or so.
Leaked stats include the following…
- AMOLED 2.43-inch QVGA display
- 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7200A processor
- Windows Mobile 6.5
- Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band (850/1900/2100MHz) UMTS/HSDPA connectivity
- 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM
- GPS
- 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth 2.0
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- 3.2MP Camera
While the look of the phone is a bit last year, it is always nice to see more phones set to run Windows Mobile 6.5 plus I am thrilled that HP is committed to keeping the iPaq brand alive. I for one would LOVE to see an iPaq Smartbook (or whatever they end up being called when the German trademark smoke clears).
