OK, I’ve been really busy the last couple days so I have not been able to share the hot news that Sprint has the Touch Pro 2 now. Lot’s of news on this has surfaced the last few days. If you are regular reader here, you know how high I am on the Touch Pro 2, so I want to share all I can about this awesome phone. While I am still using the EU version of the TP2, it’s making it’s way to the US and I am personally hanging tight for an AT&T version. Here are the news bits about Sprint’s version:

Sprint announced the Touch Pro 2 for $349 on August 31st.

Sprint and HTC Corporation are answering the call for a no-compromise converged device on a blazingly fast network with HTC Touch Pro2. The attractive new phone combines the productivity of Windows Mobile® 6.1, the vibrant TouchFLO user interface and a variety of fun-to-use entertainment applications, including Sprint TV with live and on-demand programming, and Sprint’s exclusive sports applications NFL Mobile Live and NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile.

Beginning Sept. 8, customers will be able to purchase HTC Touch Pro2 through the Web (www.sprint.com), Telesales (1-800-SPRINT1) and sales representatives for $349.99 with a two-year service agreement and after $100 mail-in rebate.

You can already preorder via phone sales from what I’ve heard too…

Next up is manuals and videos… Sprint has gone all out and offers all sorts of literature and familiarization guides online for the Touch Pro 2, like they do with other major phones…

Sprint has an excellent resource for all your needs related to the Touch Pro. User manuals, usage guides and video demos, you name it. I have to say that the Sprint has the elearning thing down. Some of the smartphones out there can leave the users feeling dumb, so this is great for those just picking up a WinMo device for the 1st time and even the veterans for those “I didn’t know that” style tips.
