I needed a little convincing myself, but yesterday I decided to make the plunge for the 1st time. For the last 4-5 years, I have always been one that would rather use a device as intended than to fool with it’s stability by hacking it. In the Windows Mobile world, this really causes problems that lead to the stigma that you have to hard reset a WinMo phone 2-3 times a day. The truth is, I used an unmodified HTC Touch Pro 2 for 4 months and only hard reset 1 time. A week before the Windows Mobile 6.5 launch, I decided to try an experimental ROM. Guess what happened… 4 hard resets in that week. That is sad.

Anyhow, if you need any reason to go ahead and jailbreak, Tim Cox over at Cult of Mac, has 10 apps that you need to jailbreak to use and these might change your mind. Some of them, I have already discovered too.

Head over to Cult of Mac to check out Tim’s article. Thanks for the Tip Sarah in Tampa!
