This is one of those apps that I followed over from my Pocket PC / Windows Mobile days. I know the developers of this one from those days. I was happy to pay $2.99 for this great app. It brings back some great memories. Thanks PDA Mill!

The opening screen and the game settings. I had to turn down the music, it gets annoying.

On the left is the Deathmatch mode options and on the right, game info…

In the mission mode, you go through a story line mode that has 3 paths. Some more difficult than the others. You have Moogum’s Diary, Ms. Lupeez Wild Ride, and Noobinz in the hood. Silly names, fun game.

After you select the path, you pick your mission. Each mission unlocks different weapons. You get mission info before the game is launched. Read these missions, they are creative and very cute.

The game play is fun, but frustrating at the same time. You use an arsenal of weapons to take out the other side. Some weapons hit harder, some are aerial attacks, some are bombs that will probably kill the one that uses it as well as the enemy. The frog is the coolest.

Win or lose, it’s still fun. Winning brings a new weapon and gets a star next to the mission that you’ve completed it. I was able to complete this entire path, but not without a few losses.

Wrap Up
This game is a port of a very popular PPC game from the same makers. It is a knock off of worms, but done right and brings a unique spin to the game. It’s not going to provide you months of enjoyment, but I can guarantee a few days of serious addiction if you enjoy this type game play. I am a bit bias on this review admittedly, but 100’s of others that loved in on the PPC, myself included, can’t be wrong.

Pros:

  • Fun for days
  • Unique game
  • Easy Controls
  • Sound effects and snail voices are to die for

Cons:

  • Music is outdated and repetitive.
