coverflowconcept I just found a couple videos over on Crunchgear from a Swedish Design agency called Ocean Observations. These are concept videos that Apple is probably working on anyhow. In fact, I saw a tweet earlier today form WebIS pointing a Daring Fireball post saying that Apple is definitely working on something…

Jim Dalrymple:

The next version of the iPhone is already well underway and it will have cooler features than the existing models. Apple created a platform, not just a piece of hardware that uses the same old software. That’s a huge distinction.

If you want a parallel, try this. Apple had the most successful music player on the market with the iPod mini. Any other company executive would have given their right arm to have that device. What did Apple do? It dumped it. Apple stopped making its top-selling iPod and introduced the iPod nano in its place. Just when the competitors thought they had Apple in their sights, Apple completely changed the game.

I am sure everyone expects that Apple is working on something new, but it’s good to have confirmation. As long as they don’t sit on their hands for 1.5 years. While you are at it Apple, make me a slide out keyboard model. I will beta test it for you and it will rope me in for a good amount of time. I am getting used to the onscreen keyboard now though.

So check these videos out after the break…
