Come on Microsoft, Windows Phone Commercial Take 2 = Worse

Strike 2. This one is not as “Creepy” as the 1st, but it’s as bad. No need to tout having Twitter capability, a Facebook app, and the tired MSN stuff on a phone. First off, these things are EXPECTED on a smartphone now. Next, the only two app icon dudes you have in the commercial that people care about are not even programs written by Microsoft. I liked the Seinfeld commercials, the shopper commercials are ok, the I’m a PC ads are average, the Zune ads blow, and these 1st two Windows Phone commercials do nothing but get you picked on online. Stop it please.

If you mean Facebook and Twitter, I believe the offical Facebook app was actually written by Microsoft.

Personally, I don't care about either of those, though. I'd rather see the Bing search application.

Your opinion seems to be in the minority as the Seinfeld ads were ruled a failure. These ads give life to boring ol Microsoft with some comedy. Not sure why you have so much anger in you for something as small as a commercial. I think someone needs to be hugged by a giant Twitter icon or maybe even tackled. Lighten up ;)

No anger here, just think they suck. They should enlist @HTC to do their commercials too. If Microsoft airs this one as their own, people would be excited...

Yeah, I don't like these WM6.5 commercials either. IMHO, They're just plain stupid. They certainly don't inspire me to rush out and buy a WM6.5 phone.
