1st of all, if it does, it will most likely be referred to as the HTC HD2 still. It seems that HTC is working on bolstering their already big name by not allowing the carriers to rebrand their phones. So, T-Mo News got a tip that the HTC Leo aka the HD2 might be coming to T-Mobile. They apparently received a photo of some promo material that clearly show the HD2 on T-Mobile paper.

We already know the HTC HD2 is expected to be in the 1st quarter of 2010 so the following comment is right in line with that. I could see myself buying one of these off contract and unlocking just to have it. :)

Expect this device to land on T-Mobile USA Q1 of 2010. You may resume drooling! –Kickstar13

anybody know if htc hd2 will be upgradable to winmo 7?
  • It's all up to the OEM and carrier. At best we can say that it should be capable of being upgraded, but whether it will be upgraded is in the hands of HTC and T-Mobile.

HTC seems to be good at offering upgrades, though.

  • When it's released, I am guessing yes. I don't see any reason why not.
