There’s an App for that in the Marketplace

I saw this linked on Twitter earlier but was too busy to take a look. I saw that Pocketnow linked it and decided to watch it. It’s proof that Microsoft does have a sense of humor. :)

  • They can have a sense of humor all they want, i can't find it funny when the Marketplace is so dismal...
  • Other than the quantity of applications, what is so "dismal" about the Marketplace?

I got to play with a Verizon Imagio yesterday and spent most of that looking at the Marketplace. The only thing that I didn't like was the the application titles could get truncated -- on both the selection screens and the top bar of the details page -- with no apparent way to see the entire title. They should put the title above or below the big button where it can wrap so customers can see the entire name.

If your only complaint is the number of applications, I think "dismal" is exaggerating things. The quantity of applications can quickly change.
