Twitter seems to be the source of a lot more leaks lately and there are a couple tweets that came in Friday that tell some stories, whether the companies wanted them to or not.

The 1st one is kind of cut and dry. Strait to the point…

The next one needs a little back story, but the tweet implies that Brighthand’s story is accurate. Why would a PR rep tweet something that is not true, eh? The story on Brighthand is “Samsung Omnia II Reportedly Scheduled for Nov. 1 Launch”. It basically talks about a rumor put out there by Phone Arena that the Omnia II is coming Nov. 1 to Verizon.

If both of these are true, Verizon has been busy busy catching up in the Smartphone market, one they arguably lead a few years ago.
