bloglinesplumber Howdy everyone! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and scored big on Black Friday. I had a great time off myself. I was able to knock out a few projects on the site. It wasn’t uneventful though, I also had some database issues late Saturday night/ Sunday morning that gave me fits. That’s taken care of and I have brought things back up to speed. I just wanted to share this morning

1st off the changes to the site layout. Nothing major, just some layout changes. I added some additional content to our sidebar. I also added a bar above the content to allow you to search easier for news, RSS, and forums for the major mobile OS platforms. I added some ways to allow users to share our news/commentary with Twitter and Facebook. Make sure to use those if you will. They help us a lot!

iPhoneMVP and GotZune’s content will be merged in with Mobilitysite’s content this week. I am working on providing RSS feeds of various flavors to help readers customize what they want to see in their reader. I don’t think this merge will affect many. We already post iPhone and Zune stuff here anyhow. Bringing all the sites under the same roof makes sense and makes my life easier too. Thanks for your support on this.

That’s about it for now, but standby… more to come soon.
