We’ve heard a lot of news about pico projectors recently, with AT&T’s new eXpo, projector-carrying, Windows Mobile running phone.

Windows CE is now even coming to those little projectors themselves, courtesy of Lancerlink.

Specs include Windows CE 5.0, 64MB of memory, 4GB of flash storage, an ARM CPU, USB port, and even two integrated 0.5 watt speakers, for those who happen to enjoy tiny, tinny sound. Resolution is 640×480, which is quite sufficient for many quick purposes.

This thing is pretty compact – if the price is right, it could do pretty well, in my opinion.

Available only in Japan right now, however.

  • Sounds interesting, but 640x480? I'm looking for a cheap projector for my Redfly, but that's 800x480 (the VGA output is 800x600).

P.S. A photo would be a useful addition to the story. I had to link to Engadget, which doesn't play nicely with IE here. ;)
