So I’ve noticed for a while now, that when I look at the Zune 120 and HTC Diamond and the Zune HD and the HTC Diamond 2, I see a bit of a resemblance in the devices as far as hardware goes.

Let’s look at the HTC Diamond and Zune 120 first:

So you have a screen dominating most of the device, and below it, a large touchpad/d-pad with buttons on each side of it.  Both are a shiny black, and if the call and end buttons on the Diamond weren’t there, it would look even closer like a Zune.

Now let’s look at the Diamond 2 and the Zune HD:

So look at these two.  A large HD screen dominating most of the device, and the rest of that space is a glossy black.  Below the button(s), is a chrome bottom that pretty much has nothing on it, just there for the looks.

I don’t know, but I see a resemblance between both generations of devices.  Anyone else have something to say about this?
