BlackBerry Messenger = BlackBerry Fail

129060237166317053[1]Us Berry users have had it hard this month.  3 BIS outages,  one of them rendering us with no data at all.

Different theories had been floating around as to what was going on.  Today, RIM has announced that the cause of the outages was BlackBerry Messenger, specifically versions 5.0.0.55 and 5.0.0.56.  They are advising now to upgrade to 5.0.0.57 to fix the problem.

Whatever the problem was, hopefully things are fixed now that they have supposedly figured out the problem.
