lgexpo The LG eXpo is a hot new Windows Mobile 6.5 device that some are looking forward to. It’s got an optional Pico projector designed to work with it as well. It just hit AT&T’s website the other day and eagle-eyed Steven was the 1st to share it with us all. He has been CNTL-F5ing AT&T’s website for a while. He’s be reviewing this one for us soon too. Better late than never huh? This thing was supposed to drop 10 days ago according to the announcement. Let’s take a look at this unboxing!

OK, maybe it’s not cool to make you all think it was going to be my video, but hey… It’s funnier than mine will be. I should have this tomorrow or Monday too. Thanks Mike, my Microsoft MVP Lead, for the link to this video.

I would rather have watched you do it. I hope that is not a commercial for the phone, it probably wouldn't help sell it.

The phones cool I just think the mobile projector idea is kinda unneeded.
  • If you can carry a PowerPoint presentation on your phone and display it in a meeting without needing to lug a laptop and projector, that's a great selling tool for lots of business people. My Samsung Omnia has a TV out capability, so I could play the presentation on a TV, but the phone would have to be very close to the TV (due to the short cable).

Consumers will probably find it less compelling.

Sad part is I work with designers like that... ;-)
