RepliGo Reader from Cerience easily steps in and allows quick access to any PDF, downloaded from a browser or local.
The zoom features are slick on RepliGo. Touch-screen and trackball responsiveness on my HTC Magic is immediate. There are also on-screen controls for a quick fit-to-window, zoom in, and zoom out on a document. RepliGo also lists embedded bookmarks, and although the ability to add bookmarks to a document would have been nice, I can’t imagine using the bookmark feature either way if I’m only reading five or six-page PDF documents on my phone. The ability to open password-protected PDFs is also a bonus.
Documents load easily from my microSD card, and RepliGo automatically opens when I view an online PDF. There is a RepliGo Professional version available for Blackberry devices, which allows for wireless PDF printing over Bluetooth to compatible printers and faxing capabilities tied to a monthly subscription. The ability to print over Bluetooth would a fabulous upgrade to the Android RepliGo Reader, but even though the app is 1.99 USD in the Android Market, it’s a fair price to pay for its current features; reliability, speed, and ease.
