Snaptic has this awesome developer challenge going on right now. If you develop for Android, you’re going to want to pay attention. What’s the challenge? Create an Android application that inspires and tracks physical movement. You have to make an application that encourages people to get in motion, and at the same time make it feel fun.

The rules are quite simple:

1. Register for the challenge! It’s free!

2. Meet the challenge and build an Android app (.apk) that inspires and tracks physical movement

3. Use a Snaptic intent or something from the Snaptic API

4. Submit your app by May 21st, and find out if you’re a winner on May 27th!

That’s it! What’s the grand prize? An all expense paid trip to TED Global 2010. Some other prizes include: a MacBook Pro, Androids, software, hosting, and more!

Head over to Snaptic for all the details!
