Ok, so continuing my little series of video processing tools, today I’ve got SPB Mobile DVD up on the testing block. Many of you have suggested that I check it out and Doug was kind enough to contact them for me and get me an evaluation copy. SPB Mobile DVD is fast and it works, I converted Stargate to both AVI and WMV formats and it worked flawlessly both times. Audio was in sync with the video, the overall size...

Extra DVD Ripper Express

And here again another week has gone by, so that means it’s time to take a look at another program that is supposed to help you take your videos with you on the go. This week I have Extra DVD Ripper Express and it does have some nice features, it’s easy to use, but the end product is junk, the final ripped and converted movie is way out of sync to the point it is un-viewable. hmm.. I haven’t been keeping up on my HTC news apparently…  a few days ago HTC announced the ‘Touch Dual’, don’t know how I missed this one, but it is now available in Korea and I’m sure it’ll have a US presence shortly as it is in direct competition with the BlackJack III. It looks like a rather cool little phone for those looking for something compact, but yet with touchscreen...

Hop on over to HTCClassAction.org and check out the latest update, they’ve got video of the D3D drivers in action, while it’s not perfect it is improved. Motorola just announced the ‘H680 Female’ bluetooth headset, obviously by the name  and  stylings it’s for women only.. but I’m sure there are some guys who might like it as well.. ;) Just released in the Korean market for now, with no word when it will hit the states, but as with most products it’ll get here eventually. Apparently it even comes in a fashionable gift box  with necklace...
