After deciding to buy an iPad you know you need something to protect it from scratches, damage and visibility. (I would like to keep my fingers thank you). But what do you buy, a case, a portfolio or a sleeve? Do you buy all three so you can decide what you want or like? Well we here at Mobilitysite would like to help you with your decision and review some of the variety of cases for your iPad. Zealot has already reviewed...

On June 6th AT&T release the Palm Pixi Plus. The second WebOS device on the carrier and while certainly not a new device it is the first WebOs device I have had the opportunity to use and review. After two weeks of use I must say I understand why some find WebOS to be a under rated system. Palm certainly has come a long way since the Treo 600 I used 5 or 6 years ago. The real question is though, how does it stand...

Well this has to be a record. It has been on sale for less than a week and the price has already dropped from $49 on contract to Free on contract. I read this last night on Engadget and had to check it out for myself. But there it is. I have had this Phone for review for a little over a week and its not a bad device. I should have a review up soon.

for most of us here we concern ourselves with mobility. Because of this we equip ourselves with devices that may sacrifice function for light weight and good battery life. But there are times when we are stationary and need more features. This is where a device like the Aegis NetDock comes in. The NetDock is a new device from Apricorn. With a DVD Writer, USB hub and optional Hard drive it is a docking station for Netbooks...

As I mentioned yesterday Palm sent me a Pixi Plus that is to be released on June 6th on the AT&T network. As a Windows Mobile user I am excited to do this review because I have never used a WebOS device and I am always interested in the various operating systems on a Smartphone. So what I do think so far? Click past the break and see.

Over the weekend some videos cropped up showing how things can be done in the Office application in the up coming Windows Phone 7 which is scheduled to be released this fall and while I am disappointed in some of what is being done (or not being done) in the new Phone OS, this looks pretty good.

In February Microsoft announced its new Phone platform Windows Phone 7 Series(WP7S). For many it was extremely overdue because the current platform had fallen way behind (arguably) the usability of the iPhone platform. Since its introduction the market share of WM has continued to drop. What I believe Apple did is take the Smartphone platform to the consumer level. Prior to that most people used basic or feature cell...
Ok Now that I have posted the news I want to share my opinion and hear yours. I usually don’t post on such things but I personally think this epitomizes the problems with the legal system and the patent system in this country. It’s all over the internet so I won’t post any more links, but most of the comments by readers seem to think it is either completely bogus or only being done to stop the progression of Android...

From Engadget:
Looks like Apple’s going on the warpath, kids. Just a few months after Cupertino got into it with Nokia over phone patents, Apple’s filed suit against HTC, alleging that the company is infringing 20 patents "related to the iPhone’s user interface, underlying architecture, and hardware." Steve, you have something to say?

In their continuing effort to improve mobile browsing, Opera has release the Beta 3 of their Opera 10 Mobile browser and it includes Flash Lite support and support for Windows Mobile Standard.. While it is still a beta I think it is a better browser than Opera 9.5 which comes on my HTC Tilt2. Here are a list of changes from the Beta2.
The main improvements from the previous betas are:
keypad/smartphone support
Flash...

As I mentioned in the article about the release of WM6.5.3, Sony Ericsson has released a new front facing QWERTY Smartphone called the Aspen, which is running the latest release from Redmond. It looks to be a nice middle of the road device. I noticed this over at Matthew Millers blog, here are the Specs.
Specifications for the Sony Ericsson Aspen include:
Quad-band GSM/EDGE with two UMTS/HSPA models (900/2100 for Europe...

Seems like there may have been more to the Zune update than indicated. Long Zheng over at istartedsomething found drivers that indicate some kind of phone hardware. Maybe a “Zune phone” which has been denied repeatedly, or what I hope is Zune integration for Windows Mobile. What I would like to see is it starting with 6.5.3 or whatever they will call it and receiving an update for my Tilt2. I guess we will have to...

I noticed an article on Pocketnow.com which mentions the bump in Memory on the upcoming T-Mobile version of the HTC HD2. The upgrade to 1 gig of Rom meets the Chassis one specs. for WM 7 which makes it a possibility that this will be the only version getting the updated OS. So I hopped over to HTC and they have the product page up where you can look at the specs and sign up for more info as it is available. Are you planning...

Since the release of Windows Mobile 6.5 and the subsequent release of the new Windows phones, I have had the privilege of reviewing two offerings by AT&T. The HTC Pure (Touch Diamond 2) and the Tilt2 (Touch Pro2), both of which I found to be good in their own rights with the Tilt2 being the better of the two in my opinion because of the hardware keyboard and larger screen. Since then I have also received the LG eXpo...
