Windows CE… Coming to a Projector Near You?

We’ve heard a lot of news about pico projectors recently, with AT&T’s new eXpo, projector-carrying, Windows Mobile running phone. Windows CE is now even coming to those little projectors themselves, courtesy of Lancerlink. Specs include Windows CE 5.0, 64MB of memory, 4GB of flash storage, an ARM CPU, USB port, and even two integrated 0.5 watt speakers, for those who happen to enjoy tiny, tinny sound. Resolution... 

Cyber Monday According to AT&T

AT&T’s got a couple of Cyber Monday deals, for just one penny. Of course, you’ll have to sign the obligatory two year contract, but still, if you’re in the market for a new phone, or your contract has recently expired, it may be a good opportunity. On the other hand, some of you might want to wait and save that 2 year renewal for the recently discovered iPhone3,1, if it does indeed come out some time next year. Cyber... 

YouMail Voicemail Comes to iPhone!

YouMail is soon coming to the iPhone as a native app! If you haven’t heard of YouMail yet, it’s a service that promises to replace your voicemail on your iPhone. Official iPhone carriers already does offer Visual Voicemail, but YouMail introduces a host of other features, including transcription (for a free), email notifications, and it’s accessible from anywhere! I use it myself to set personal greetings for calls....

So, with all that fancy jazzy features that Apple has just been stuffing into the iPhone, it’s nice to see that Apple is working on improving  an integral part of the iPhone – web browsing. Golf season is coming up for many of you folks! Beating the buzzer comes the new Golf app by Zagat, released by Handmark. You might’ve used Zagat’s excellent restaurant app in the past, and I expect that the Golf app will be just as good, completely with location services. The app offers reviews and ratings for each golf course – and you don’t need an active internet connection so it’ll work on your shiny...

It appears that some people just can’t wait for 3.0 to come out. Others can hold their horses until June. For those that can’t and want to spring for the beta version, they have to pay the $99 that Apple charges to be a registered iPhone Developer that can release apps. Or do they? Inevitably, people have cashed in on the opportunity to get some quick cash and some iPhone registered developers are selling their iPhone...

It includes FoxyTunes – for music, Zotero – for research and bibliographies, and StumbleUpon – to waste free time.
