What I did was to go into Outlook and click on Tools, then email accounts and then under Directories click on view or change directories and remove the active directory and leave the outlook address book type mapi. After doing this I then added a contact from my pda and synced the info to Outlook and then made another contact in Outlook and everything went well. Now I don't get those three message boxes when I sync or the one box when I open Outlook.
I hope this helps anyone else out there.
