Hi Yosmo52. I'm a newbie but I tried couple of things. And I think it might help you a bit. I had a same unit with exactly same problem. Soon I found these information, I forced my X51 into SD boot mode, left it in a cradle and kept serching on internet for X51 flash image. About 20 minute later X51 turned off itself and it tuend into $300 paper weight~ -_-;;;; I tried hard reset, soft reset, SD boot mode, removing battery, left overnight without battery, etc. Didn't work. All it gives me is just a quick blink of LCD backlight when I push the reset while trying hard reset within cradle. What I want to say is.. since our X51 is really not stable you better not go into SD flash mode until you find a good fix and ready to flash. I didn't have patience, and I killed my X51 ^^;;; Well... It's just from my experence ^^;;; I guess our X51 keep loosing some of its data while we think it is just stuck on Dell logo.
Since I can't go into SD flash mode anymore, my hope is someone come out with Jtag instruction. Removing BGA chip and programming outside is way too much for me ^^;;;(Don't even know it is possible. I'm a newbie -_-;;)
