That was a little while ago, but what I did was search this site or Google and eventually I found a post in some forum that said that reason this is happening is that Activesync 4.1 is not completely uninstalling. This post was really nice as it told you exactly what you need to delete to completely uninstall, but unfortunately I do not remember what he said or where the post is. Try searching the error you get (something like "Critical communications error", you should get it if you try and explore the PDA) on Google and this site. You should fine something. Real sorry I am not more help. But you problem is the fact that Activesync 4.1 isn't uninstalling completely.
