Mine worked for a two connections and then quit again. I'm wondering if something in the registry gets changed or corrupted. Since I've been using opera I haven't really delved into it further.

semi bump here. Update: I have been rotating browsers, but I like Opera the best, even on 2003se. I'm Opera biased, as I use it on my pc as well.
Now to PIE. I notice people still get the dreaded page not found message. I've found that the history and cache get cluttered. I also suspect that some of the web pages put things in the PIE cache and cookies even if you don't use it, which may be causing some of the problem.
Bottom line, open PIE and clean out the history, cache and cookies. Do it when you are not connected and outside of helper programs such as memmaid or SKtools. Better yet download safemode and do it from there. As I have rotated around and occaisionally had trouble connecting, this has gotten me up and running in
[I]all[I] my browsers.
