Converting and testing. Had some distortion to deal with, but I think that's fixed. Took me about an hour to get the settings right... my system is quite upset and DVD Catalyst (gui) wouldn't run, so I had to start the process on one system, then steal the command syntax from there, copy it back to the main system... then I had to tweak it to convert .MOVs properly. Arg!
I defense of DVD Catalyst... a lot of this junk is related to my pc, normally the software works flawlessly.
BTW - I know you were looking for a free application for this conversion, but you should consider DVD Catalyst. Its the app I'm using to do this (for my benefit too), and Mitch deserves the credit.
