PeteC, I'd recommend you just map Tomtom to a less important button than power just in case there are moments when you'd like to turn the unit on without having tomtom getting in your way. Another possibility is just to try and not close tomtom when you turn the PDA off. The Tomtom app might not be very happy about that, but it might work.
