...is that I can't easily get always available email and web access outside of my home network. I can access wifi through my Linksys but duh, I have a computer at home already. I bought the Axim for on the road access which is 50% of the time.

I have a T-mobile account that I can use at Starbucks, but other than that, what is the best way to accomplish this? Modem through my Verizon phone? Broadband Verizon wireless? Sell it and get a Smartphone?

It's a bit frustrating as I would like to be able to check email wherever I am. I'm in the LA/San Diego area all the time so options should abound.

Any help for a newbie on this would be greatly appeciated.
