Well, your BIGGEST hint should be the "File not copied" warnings all throughout that log. I don't know where those files are located, but that's why there's a "Search" feature. Searching the "WINDOWS" and "Program Files" folders should provide the location of the files.

Uninstall ActiveSync (any and all versions).

REBOOT!!

For each "not copied" file where it says "source version: 3.7.1.4034":

If it's not obvious that it's a different one than what your looking for (for example, if a file you are looking for turns up twice, once in a Macromedia Dreamweaver folder... DON'T delete the Macromedia one)... and DELETE (or rename\move) ALL of those files listed as "Not copied."

Reboot!!!

Install ActiveSync 3.7. Proceed from there to do whatever you want with ActiveSync.
