Thanks Oleg! That stopped the error message coming up.

The "Remote-NDIS Host" setting is one of those annoying fields that once you've entered it, you can't get out of it without entering something. I erroneously set it to server-assigned IP address just so that I could get out.

Yikes I've a lot to learn (only had my Axim for 1 day). can you explain what you mean by "Internet through active sync"? I have the Internet working via wifi and through a Bluetooth connection to my Nokia 6230 (that was a mission).
