I had to file down the sides of the adapter by about 1-2mm , just above the push-tabs, to get it to fit. Didn't have to do that with the separate power adapter which I use in the car with the GPS. It's not a big deal; takes 10 minutes wth a file or sharp knife. The case is superb and I wouldn't let a simple thing like this stop you or anyone from buying it. You'll love it.
