The only program that seems to play AAC is TCPMP with the AAC plugin (freeware) and PocketMusic with the commercial AAC plugin ($9.95).
I like MortPlayer - sure wish an AAC plugin could be developed for that!

I think that AAC is one of the best (lossy) encoding formats out there: it produces small files with crystal clear quality. Just don't get me started on the way Apple tries to force you to put your AAC files only on an iPod...
40th iPlay has a gapless AAC decoder with album art and lyrics.
