I tried Monster Chinese last night and it is shocking. It took up 2 Mb of RAM and somehow made all other system fonts small. Uninstalling is also a pain as it kept asking me to reboot. I'm so glad I had a backup before I started.
CE-Star is a more polished product. Takes up very little RAM and had a Chinese input although I hardly use.
However, I'll try the registry and fonts method tonight as I'm always concerned about system changes third party software made.
