One more note about the Marware case. I have a Socket low-power Wi-Fi card and it sticks up about half an inch above the top of the Axim. The Axim still fits in the case with the card installed  and the strap still reachs over and closes properly. Now I do not regularly carry the Axim with the card installed, but it is nice to know that I can.
I also figure that if I get the long-life Dell battery, the Axim will still fit in the case.
