Thanks for the reply - I have solved the problem, by accident. After trying for hours sending numerous files as a tester to two axim x51v's and my sony ericsson phone and them sending data to me unsuccessfully I deleted every bluetooth partnership and made new ones and for some reason I can now send and recieve bluetooth data.
This problem did mine and my mates heads in. Stupid stupid stupid bluetooth stack. We are both pretty clued up on bluetooth and win mobile but this had us both stumped.
If you have the same problem save yourself loads of hours messing with settings on your axim and other devices - just delete the partnerships and start over! Win mob 5 bluetooth is cheese.
