Thanks for the tips guys but still no go. I'm already on chan. 11 and using the DNS from my ISP didnt speed things up any.

Odd problem really. When I was using my ipaq with WM2003 SE it blazed. Upgraded to WM5 and slow. Now have an Axim with WM5 and same slow story.

I think its definitely related to WM5. Something changed in the OS but I cant figure out what it is.

Like with mail. In WM5 checking mail takes forever and I am always prompted with a message saying the certificate isn't valid proceed any way?

Something that didnt happen under PPC2003. So I wonder if the problem is under WM5 that there is some security policy feature that is slowing down TCP communication? If that makes sense.
