Resco Explorer will only import files encoded as UNICODE text as opposed to ASCII text.
If on the PC, use notepad > paste text > save as > choose Unicode under Encoding > save.
If on the Device, use
uknote > Paste text > Option > Text > choose Unicode > Save as.
Then see if resco explorer takes the file.
I've actually switched back to using sunglobe.ttf since it makes chinese characters look better than mUniFontM.ttf and I don't expect to view non-chinese characters.
Anybody else using the free chinese input addon? Pretty neat. Now to find a nice chinese-english dictionary. Suggestions? Given the power and storage of the pocketpc, I'm surprised they haven't created a chinese dictionary that can pronounce the words... like all those non-pocketpc electronic dictionaries out there.
