Laridian has a plan to read the Bible in one year (and other options I believe). It has been a few years since I used the actual plan, but I believe it picks up wherever you left off, as I seem to remember starting and stopping many times, but it seemed that it guided me back to where I left off each time.

I use their Bible software as my primary Bible, I couldn't tell you right now where my hardcopy Bibles are. As an adition, their strong's concordance with Greek- Hebrew dictionaries is great.
