I have to agree that Birdsoft's Texas Hold'Em is a bit painful on the eyes on the x51v (no VGA hacks). When it comes out in VGA, then I'll give it a try again. If you want the casual user to buy your stuff, unfortunately, looks matter.

So far Realdice's Texas Hold'em (awesome VGA graphics) and Ace Texas Hold'em are the best on the eyes, and they both have good gameplay. Realdice is a bit slow with loading though with it's high-res graphics - but at least gameplay is fast.

Though Realdice could make the table bigger and the input window smaller (though I can understand they did that for stylus-free play which is good). And Realdice's cards are fine, but I prefer the standard card look that Ace has. And while Ace's cards/table are nice and big, it's a waste of time and slows things down having it scroll from one player to the next.

Oh, another thing about Birdsoft - the animation for the players while they're thinking, etc. seems unnecessary - better to save those bits for higher-res graphics.
