I tried WebIS Flexmail 2006 and thats even slower than pocket outlook. The speed is so slow in general its like a 9600 BPS modem. (Hey remember those days?)

Did you also give a try to Qmail? It may prove be much snappier on WM5 than FlexMail and supports both RSS feeds and e-mail. See
