Activesync and WeatherToGo
I installed WeatherToGo on my Dell x50 and all of a sudden my ActiveSync will not sync. I'm not sure if it something in the Weather to Go if there is a file on the desktop or on the Axim...
I have deleted WeathertoGo, reinstalled ActiveSync (Actually I tried both Activesync 4.1 and 3.8 - I did not realize how much garbage Activesync 4.1 leaves and I had to delete file by file to get it back to its former state)
I have Windows XP (I tried recover point before all this happened - but it will not allow me the change - I think I do not have enough disk space for that)
So here is the question - What can I do to Activesync to sync again -
It allows Guest connection - but when setting up a Standard sync it goes on for about 10 seconds - the progress bar gets about half way and then it drops the connection. Again and Again (I'm syncing with Outlook 2002)
Please help - are there files in the system folder to be deleted - any registry entries.
By the way Weather to Go when I had it on my Axim seemed like a very nice programs - can it be causing all this problem - any of you out there with a similiar experience?
