Mobility Site - View Single Post - Storing all programs on a SD/CF card. Bad idea?

I'm wondering how many people store all their programs on a SD/CF card. What would the advantages/disadvantages be? (keeping in mind I don't plan on taking out the SD/CF card often)

Any thoughts?
