Hmmm, you might have shrunk the movie to small. It also has a lot to do with the encoding of the movie. You might have had some hiccups while the program was running. While encoding, do not surf or use your computer at all. Encoding is very CPU dependent.
Have you tried other movies? I would get a larger card. I prefer the CF card for movies. I have a 1gig and my full dvd is shrunk to 475 mb with excellent dvd playback. Check the settings in TCPMP, under options video and see which driver it's using. I use the GAPI driver. Also, you can look under the add/remove programs and see if you have a couple of plugins for TCPMP. They are for the audio tho, not video. I have;
TCPMP AAC plugin, TCPMP AC3plugin
