If you have your documents sync'd with your desktop, doesn't Pocket Word mess up your format whenever you modify? I bought TextMaker so I could review and modify documents during a meeting and then update them on my desktop when I sync.

Pocket Word will do OK with a relatively basic document, at least that's what I've found. If you're doing anything like imbedding images or tables, though, I think you might lose some stuff going to PW. PW was never intended (I don't believe) to replace desktop Word ... Pocket PC's are not supposed to be desktop replacements; that's asking an awful lot.
Having said that, though, TextMaker really does come close. I just find it to be a little bit slow (and slightly clumsy) when doing simple things. I keep a journal most of the time and PW is pretty lightweight and fast for doing that.
